Yoga Nidra, also known as the Meditative Heart of Yoga, is an integrative and deeply nourishing practice that may support those wanting relief from anxiety, stress & insomnia as well as being a complementary support for physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. As a tool that enhances creativity and deepens awareness, this powerful meditative and healing practice can welcome you home to your authentic ground of being.
A session includes taking time for settling into your chosen comfortable position, which may be lying down or seated. With a welcoming soothing voice, you will be gently guided through breath and body awareness into a place of letting go, soothing rest, relaxation and inner stillness. Some practices also include the use of singing bowls, guitar and song and other subtle instruments to aid the process of this deepening practice.
Yoga Nidra is also factored into, and an important part of, various classes, programs, workshops and retreats lead by Sian.
Personalised Yoga Nidras are also available. This is an individual session to co-create (with recording) a practice that can be used at home on a regular basis as a way of supporting whatever is most relevant and helpful at the time.
So that you can welcome a deep letting go and being comfortably held in this nurturing practice, you will need a mat along with comfortable blankets and cushions."
